For me, the sensations were noticeable and very effective, only at about half power. However, be aware, the base at the bottom of the probe is VERY narrow. You could end up having to take an embarrassing trip to the E.R. if you're not careful. I am going to figure out a way to modify it to make the base wider so it doesn't get "sucked in".
